Festival season is about to begin, and the lineups are showing no mercy! Bass Canyon 2020 is no different and has released the majority of their fire lineup! Held at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington, Bass Canyon has one of the most scenic backdrops a music festival could ask for. Headbangers everywhere are ready to send it back to the canyon for another year of amazing bass music this August. To close out the amazing weekend, a legendary B2B from Illenium and Excision can be expected to shake the ground. Coming back for the third year in a row, Bass Canyon offers four days of camping, and three days of insane beats!
Coming back to the Bass Canyon lineup in 2020 is LSDream. Beginning as a side project for the artist formerly known as Brillz, LSDream has become its own entity. Since debuting on the WAKAAN label in 2018, two albums full of intense ethereal tracks have been released, leaving us still wanting more. Real name Sami Diamant, this DJ describes LSDREAM as a spiritual being having a human experience. It sounds like he’s ready to take us on a journey, and I can’t wait to see where this spaceship lands.
For the first time in Bass Canyon history, the lineup welcomes Hekler. Known for his aggressive and gnarly style, the Las Vegas based artist will fit right in at The Gorge. While he had an interest in producing music from an early age, it wasn’t until 2017 that he began releasing the tracks we’ve all grown to love. The release and success of 2018 track ‘Buggas’ launched Hekler into the public eye, and he hasn’t looked back since. Already this year, his new single ‘Transparency’ has received over forty thousand plays since its release at the end of January. It’s clear Hekler has more in store for us this year, and Bass Canyon will be the perfect place to show us!
Definitely a name to be on the lookout for, rising talent Shlump will be showcasing his skills for us this August. Defining his sound as ‘Alien Bass Music’, Shlump is all about going beyond the boundaries of the ordinary to give us something more. Putting in work with various record labels such as DeadBeatz, WAKAAN, and ShadowTrix Music, he is gaining quite a fanbase for himself. Bass lovers heading to the canyon this year will definitely want to catch this set!
On August 28-30th of this year, Excision invites us back to The Gorge Amphitheater for a weekend of neck-breaking fun. With performances from the man himself all weekend, we can expect he’ll be sure to pull out all the stops!
