All My Friends Music Festival is so close we can almost feel the hot Los Angeles sun on our faces. Before the weekend kicks off let’s take a look at what makes this expertly curated event one you’re not going to want to miss.

The city of Los Angeles is synonymous with the underground dance music scene. Many pioneers of electronic music spent their younger years in downtown L.A., creeping out of downtown warehouses in the wee hours of the morning. AMF founder Gary Richards is no stranger to the area, the first electronic music event he ever attended was a few blocks from ROW DTLA, the venue hosting the inaugural All My Friends Music Festival on August 18 & 19. Located on Alameda between 7th and 8th Street, ROW DTLA promises to be an engaging and unique music festival venue complete with shops, dining, art installations and of course ample space for dancing. AMF will feature 3 stages of music, nestled among picturesque murals and historical architecture. Learn more about this one-of-a-kind venue here.

The real question is what will you be dancing to once you enter this one-of-a-kind venue? The set times for AMF were recently released and the 3 stages are stacked from gates open to close.

SATURDAY

Aside from legendary headliners like RL Grime and the man himself, Destructo, Saturday provides a great mix of intergalactic sounds from the likes of Barclay Crenshaw and Moon Boots while also offering up chill vibes courtesy of Pete Tong in the Friendzone and Jhene Aiko on the AMFAMFAMF Stage. A handful of 90 minute sets scattered throughout the day might ease the pain of some tough conflicts. Grab a drink and dance your way across all three stages when possible!

SUNDAY

With 3 more sets than Saturday, Sunday is going to test not only your heart but also body as you try to hit as many stellar bookings as possible to round out the first-ever AMF. Prepare to have your doors blown off by showstopper M.I.A., mind blown by OG Armand Van Helden and twerk team assembled for Jubilee all in the same. damn. day. Treasured Dirtybird and Night Bass ambassadors make welcome appearances in the Friendzone presented by Space Yacht and a rare stateside set from Jamie XX promises to close out AMF in a special way.
