San Diego is about to end 2024 and kick off 2025 in the only way it knows how: big, loud, and PROPER. FNGRS CRSSD just unveiled the lineup for the fourth edition of PROPER NYE/NYD, and it’s shaping up to be the crown jewel of Southern California’s New Year’s celebrations.

Taking over Petco Park on December 31 and January 1, the two-night affair has become a signature send-off for festival fans, blending stadium-scale production with underground credibility. This year’s edition comes with some extra upgrades—reduced capacity for more breathing room, a fifth stage expansion, and even a happy hour kickoff to fuel two nights of marathon dancing.

The Heavy Hitters

Leading the charge are Chris Lake and Four Tet, who will both play solo sets and team up for a rare B2B that’s already got heads spinning. Add in Chase & Status bringing drum & bass heat, Adam Beyer repping Drumcode, Purple Disco Machine with his GRAMMY-winning disco grooves, Sara Landry conjuring techno rituals, and Sammy Virji flying the UKG flag—this top tier is locked and loaded for maximum impact.

Big Room Energy Meets Underground Vibes

It wouldn’t be Proper without a few more giants in the mix: Kaskade Redux, Green Velvet, Gorgon City, and Reinier Zonneveld (Live) balance out the bill with styles spanning house to live techno. On the melodic side, favorites like Nora En Pure, Tinlicker (DJ), and Yotto bring their signature sunrise-friendly sounds.

Crowd Favorites & Fresh Faces

Fans can also expect sets from the always-unpredictable Claude VonStroke, UK bass king Chris Lorenzo, viral sensation Disco Lines, and eclectic selectors Flight Facilities (DJ). The groove continues with Eli & Fur, Walker & Royce, and Noizu.

On the rising star front, the energy is undeniable: Hannah Laing, Hamdi, Odd Mob, it’s murph, and Max Styler are all set to break through in a big way, joined by buzzworthy newcomers like MPH, Nicky Elisabeth, Ranger Trucco, and Tinzo + Jojo.

The Details

With sweeping downtown views and open-air vibes, Petco Park once again transforms into a multi-stage playground built for New Year’s magic. Presented by FNGRS CRSSD—the same team behind the beloved CRSSD Festival—Proper continues to redefine what a city-center party can look like.
