CRSSD Festival has once again announced a stunning return for the spring edition of the festival being held at the scenic Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego on March 4th and 5th. The festival, now in it’s ninth year, has turned into a marquee event for house and techno music along the west coast, bringing in attendees from all over the world. The festival has two editions each year in the spring and fall – each showcasing the best talent in the global electronic music scene.
Situated just off Highway-1, Waterfront Park offers a unique experience for attendees that get to enjoy scenic views along the pacific while being centrally located to downtown San Diego. Festival-goers from all over will flock to see some of the most in-demand names in electronic music across the festival’s unique three stages: Ocean View, The Palms, and City Steps. Each has their own distinct vibe being carefully curated and decorated to showcase some of the most established names in the scene, as well as the next rising stars.
The Ocean View Stage hosts the live performers of CRSSD that are delivering a blend of the most in-demand yet innovative electronic music, alongside some of the best lighting and visual production you can see in the Southwest. Coming off the heels of last year’s album “The Last Goodbye”, ODESZA headlines the festival alongside French duo Polo & Pan, who will display their unique blend of house and funk. Over at the Palms stage, you’ll get more of a playful, laid back vibe showcasing all forms of house music. Headlining the Palms stage includes the unique, middle eastern duo, Bedouin, and Kavinsky, the French maestro who’s coming off the heels of his first album, ”Reborn”, in nearly ten years. Don’t forget to catch many of the festival’s veterans such as Seth Troxler and Eats Everything, who’ll be playing a special b2b set, in addition to London’s Jackmaster. Over at the City Steps, expect more of the darker, underground vibes from some of the most in-demand techno artists from all over the world. The Italian sensations Deborah De Luca and Anfisa Letyago lead the charge, followed by the legend UMEK rounding out the bill.
With the festival being a 21+ event, it allows for a more relaxed vibe compared to your typical, larger festivals. Attendees are able to enjoy unique craft beer, cocktails and food from a variety of San Diego’s best breweries and restaurants. For the festival goers that still want to dance when CRSSD ends, CRSSD also hosts its “CRSSD After Dark” after parties at various venues across the city. No shows have been announced yet at this time.
