Our favorite Florida music festival returns in just one short month. This will be the 6th annual Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival, and we couldn’t be more excited! The festival touches down in Okeechobee, Florida on Thursday, March 2, through Sunday, March 5. With over 120 artist spanning across 4 days & 5 stages including Griz, ODESZA, Baby Keem, and Excision, Okechobee never disappoints. The eagerness is finally starting to set in as we start making those last minute purchases, whether they be travel arrangements, outfits, or if you’re like me, tickets.
Since its inaugural year in 2016, many of us been lucky to see how the festival has grown and changed over the years. From the art installations, once in a lifetime Pow Wow’s, to the health & wellness workshops, and (my personal favorite in the last couple of years) the Here stage. This festival truly ages like fine wine, and we can’t wait to be back in the portal with all the Okeehomies! In just a few short weeks, we’ll be planning our daily lineup schedules. Here are a few must-see artists for me:
One artist that has definitely emerged as one of the hottest bass music acts is LYNY. He introduces this really gritty, yet bouncy take on bass music that you can’t get enough of. His first festival booking was Electric Forest 2022, and was one of the best sets of the weekend.
Fresh off of a brand new album release where Rap meets Indie/Psychadelic Rock, Lil Yachty is going to be a must see for this. I’ve listened to the album a few times now, and I’m truly blown away by how good it actually is. Check it out below.
Lastly, ODESZA. That’s all there is to say. The duo makes their return to the Grove for the first time since 2016. They just released an album last summer The Last Goodbye, which will be thrilling to see live as well. As always, the duo puts on such a stellar performance, they’re practically a can’t miss whenever they’re on a lineup.
Which artists are you hoping to see? Check out the full lineup below.
