For the first time in five years, Time Warp makes another return to the United States – this time in New York City. Time Warp has been held in the US three times before, but this will be the first return in five years. 2019 also happens to be Time Warp’s 25th anniversary.
Time Warp will take place in the Bronx at the New York Expo Center on Friday November 22nd and Saturday November 23rd, Opening Hours: Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 7am. With it’s rough, industrial style and large spaces this is the ideal location for our production. Time Warp will be co-promoted with the NYC company, Teksupport – also celebrating their 5th anniversary.
Friday’s lineup includes techno legends Amelie Lens, Enzo Siragusa, Joseph Capriati, Mind Against, Pan-Pot, Reinier Zonneveld Live, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin and Sonja Moonear. Saturday sees the likes of Avision, Denis Sulta, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, Mīnk, Nina Kraviz, Palms Trax, Peggy Gou and Sven Väth.
Don’t miss out on this unique experience where music, dance and technology collide for a celebration right out of the heart of the underground scene of electronic music.
Women in Techno
Of all the subgenres of electronic dance music, techno seems to have the most representation of female DJs. This lineup shows just that, with a solid amount of female talent from all over the world taking up space on the lineup. Check out these four amazing women on the 2019 Time Warp NYC lineup below. Hailing from Antwerp, Belgium, Amelie Lens has become a prominent techno superstar this year. Sonja Moonear is from Geneva, Switzerland and has been producing bangers since 2009. Peggy Gou is a Berlin native taking techno to the next level. And Nina Kraviz is a techno prodigy hailing out of Moscow, Russia.
