AMFAMFAMF, also known as All My Friends, is Destructo’s record label. The label also hosts two festivals – AMF in downtown Los Angeles in October and also the Friendship, a festival on a cruise that leaves from Miami, Florida and heads to the Bahamas. AMF Festival in LA is just around the corner, taking place over the weekend of October 19th and 20th in Skylight ROW DTLA. The full lineup has been released, including two special guests – MK and Diplo – who will be doing a back to back set on Sunday. Other major names include Justice, Idris Elba, Volac, Black Coffee, Blond:ish, Gene Farris, DJ Harvey, and of course Destructo himself.

Besides some of the big headliners, there are tons of smaller name artists that really make this lineup special. Take a look at five artists below to learn about some talent you might not have heard of yet, and make sure not to miss them at this year’s AMF.

Shift K3Y

Shift K3Y is a Night Bass prodigy, releasing most of his tracks on Night Bass since he started making music. He has been producing tracks with other artists like Cause & Affect, Wax Motif, Born Dirty, Chris Lorenzo, Marcus Nasty and many more. He’s also released mixes on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1, and Diplo & Friends. His most recently released track was with Taiki Nulight on Night Bass, labeled “Lil Mama.”

Phlegmatic Dogs

Another Night Bass classic, Phlegmatic Dogs is a bass house duo originally from Russia. They have been putting out heavy hitting bass house tracks like “High Volume” and “Keepmastik.” They regularly make tracks and play back to back sets with VOLAC, another Russian bass house duo that are also on the AMF lineup. Besides making music with AC Slater and releasing tracks on Night Bass, they have been actively playing sets all over the world – including So Track Boa, Audiotistic SoCal, EDC Las Vegas, and many more.

Bruno Furlan

Bruno Furlan is a tech house producer hailing from São Paulo, Brazil. Releasing most of his tracks on Dirtybird, Bruno Furlan also recently played at Dirtybird Campout West Coast. He regularly does back to back sets with other tech house and Brazilian producers, DJ Glen and CISZAK. He recently put out a new EP “Stop the Car” and has been playing festival sets since.

Dillon Nathaniel

Dillon Nathaniel is an amazing bass house producer based out of LA. He just released a new EP this month called “Obsessions” which features 6 tracks, including one made with Jack Beats. He has released tracks on Toolroom Records, Sinden’s House Line, Insomniac Records, Big Beat Records, Mau5trap, and many more. His work with many different artists and record labels shows his diversity and ability to make music across house subgenres.

Wongo

Producer, DJ, label head, radio show host, former international breakdancer, full time funnyman… Gold Coast-bred party-starter Wongo is no one trick pony. Hailing from Australia, Wongo has been producing wonky house beats for awhile and has his own record label – Box of Cats. “Box of Cats” is the collective of Wongo, Jeff Doubleu, Jak Z, Kyle Watson, Tom EQ and Marc Spence and they regularly release music by the likes of MAXIMONO, Worthy, Walker & Royce, Billy Kenny, and more.
