This event calls for your favorite artists to be your new camp counselor. Full of games, sports, childhood adventures, and the company of good house music, Dirtybird Campout West Coast has announced the 2019 lineup. Prepare for a weekend full of your favorite DJs being on your team, where you take on the ultimate summer camp experience.
Dirtybird Campout West Coast is unlike a regular music festival. Here you put together the “dreamers & doers.” Attendees are welcome to participate in all camping activities. Swimming, arts and crafts, games, meeting new friends, and most importantly- busting a move.
Dirtybird welcomes all creatives to apply for the Peacock Program as well. The Peacock Program is where fans are able to present their art in many forms of art and performance. The deadline to apply is July 1. Winners will receive tickets, placement, and support for the Dirtybird team to integrate their design into the event.
The lineup consists of the talented Dirtybird players Claude Vonstroke, Justin Martin, Will Clarke, Shiba Son and more of the family. Performing at the Birdhouse stage will be Deron Delgado, Faren Strnad, Galen, Heidi, Herbert, Worthy, Westend, and many more.
While kicking in the bass over at the Bass Lodge, performances will take place from: Adam F, DJ Holographic, Eprom b2b Barclay Crenshaw Gettoblaster, Honeycomb, Jhene Aiko, Mija, Wyatt Marshall, and more.
As you prepare for the best campout of the year, here are three artists you must add to your schedule.
Steve Darko
As a Boston native, he started off making hip-hop beats and instrumentals. Through the creative process, he found his way into electronic music. Darko’s sound combines experimental house and deep bass into one. He focuses his creativity on performing weird music for fans to get down to on the dance floor.
He has previously toured with Dirtybird founder, Claude Vonstroke, with music also out on Dirtybird label.
Franklyn Watts
From the city of angels, Franklyn Watts produces some of the most booming techno and house music. He has music out on labels such as Strangelove, This Ain’t Bristol, Box Of Cats, House Line, and CUFF.
The most recent release from the artist his EP In My Living Room. The EP consists of two tracks, “SFBF” and “Where You At.” Both tracks featuring artists Sage Armstrong and Steady Rock. Watts also released “Family Function” this year.
Justin Jay
Justin Jay takes house music and adds a touch of funky soul mixed with jazzy tunes. Jay has a distinct sound when it comes to producing music that feeds the spirit with good energy and high vibes. As a young, evolving artist, he has gained support from many such as Claude Vonstroke, Disclosure, Tiga and more.
His most recent release is his everything will come together, pt. 1 album. The album features eleven indie, house tracks that take you through a journey. Continuing to make a difference in the music world, there’s no doubt he’s paving his road to the top.
