Welcome Home (Bass)

If you attended the first Home Bass event in November 2018, there’s a good chance that you’re still recovering. Music Festival Trips, a travel experience production company from Tampa, FL, had a simple yet genius idea to improve the already exceptional experience of EDC Orlando by providing the EDM community an opportunity to take the party home with them each night and keep it going 24 hours a day. From poolside pregame parties to after shows that ran until dawn, they were able to cultivate a one of a kind experience for the most passionate fans in music that couldn’t be found anywhere else.

They called it Home Bass.

Home Bass is back again next week and this time (for the first time) it’s standing alone. The event is officially the largest festival resort buyout on the entire east coast and will be taking over the Avanti Palms Resort, just minutes away from Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. In comparison to the inaugural event in November, guests will have no need to leave hotel property as all the action will be coming directly to them. The resort will be decked out with poolside stages, indoor stages, brand activations by Stoli and Bud Light as well as a wide variety of interactive experiences for a weekend that is sure to impress even the most experienced festival-goers.

So, who will be playing at Home Bass? Only some of the best in the business.

The official Home Bass Kick-Off Party will start at 9 PM on Friday, June 7th with performances by What So Not, Noizu, Gawp, and Holly Woods. Be sure to get some sleep the night before because this party is set to go all night long!

After a quick nap and a cup of coffee, the party will be back up and running Saturday morning as Prescription Records will be hosting a complete label takeover of the Avanti Palms pool. Angelz, Astronomar, BOT, Damaged Goods, Dr. Fresch, Freak On, Jace Mek, Jack Beats, and Yokai will be there to help you dance the day away as you sip on tropical drinks and bask in the Florida sun. What could be better than that?

The pool party will run from noon to 10PM so don’t be afraid to take a few breaks as needed. Home Bass is a marathon not a sprint so be prepared to pace yourself. Take some water breaks, refuel and recharge when you need to. With so much to see and do you don’t want to burn out too early and miss all of the amazing experiences that the Home Bass team has worked so hard to prepare.

Once refreshed, head over to the Wakaan Takeover Party that will run from 11PM all the way to 5AM. Wakaan’s heavy hitters LSDream, Luzid, and Krilla will be joined by their labelmates Lucci, Shlump, and Shanghai Doom for a night of headbanging and heart-thumping drops. Wakaan has been known to throw unforgettable parties so this is one event you definitely won’t want to miss!

Still hanging in there? The fun doesn’t stop yet.

On Sunday Home Bass is prepared to go out with a bang. Start off your day at the Dirtybird Players Pool Party where Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, Ardalan, Christian Martin, J. Worra, Kill Frenzy, and Hunter Reid will have you shuffling in and out of the water for hours. Similar to Prescription Records this event will run from noon to 10 PM so you’ll have plenty of time to mix in some rest and relaxation before you tear it up on the dance floor.

Last but not least, Home Bass 2019 will end the weekend with an all-night extravaganza hosted by none other than Desert Hearts. Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds and friends will be there to cap off a beautifully exhausting weekend with some light vibes that resonate the crew’s mantra of “House, Techno, & Love”.

We couldn’t think of a more fitting end.
