As 2019 draws near and we reflect on the most memorable festivals of the year, it’s hard to pick just one thing that made each one stand out. Some events do crazy and unique stage builds. Others have interactive exhibits and experiences that are unlike anything you’d see elsewhere. Behind the scenes of every major festival is a community that is continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. And every year, they come together to share and showcase their knowledge and experiences at XLIVE Las Vegas.
XLIVE 2018 Las Vegas brings together industry leaders ranging from music, sports, film, culinary, beverage, eSports, and technology, and
will take place from December 9-12, 2018 at the Mandelay Bay Hotel. XLIVE will feature keynote speakers including Marcie Allen of MAC Presents and Justin Blau (3LAU) as well as dozens of others talks and workshops presented by professionals representing brands such as Insomniac, LiveNation, Ubisoft, Bonnaroo, Twitch, Superfly, and more. Whether you’re a veteran in the live event space or a fresh face looking to break into one of the many industries at XLIVE, there’s something valuable for everyone to take away.

XLIVE will feature a number of ‘Spotlight Programs‘, each of which is a distinct opportunity to explore, learn and network from other experienced industry professionals. 2018 features the following Spotlights:
Young Execs
The Young Executive Spotlight is a mentorship program that offers young professionals the opportunity to network with and learn from industry executives with decades of experience. Only 10 applicants will be selected for XLIVE 2018 – apply here!
Industry Labs
Industry Labs offer live event executives the opportunity to dive deep into specific industry topics. These labs range from, interactive discussions and robust networking sessions to participation in case studies. See the full list of 2018 workshops here.
Startup Showcase
The XLIVE Startup Showcase gives companies with new and innovative products or services to offer to the live event industry the chance to showcase and be featured to the 1,500+ professionals and tech firms in attendance.
FestX Awards
Presented in collaboration with Everfest, this will be the second year that XLIVE will present the FestX Awards. This Spotlight honors and celebrates innovators and producers in the festival space and the achievements they have made in the 2018 festival season. Some of 2017’s awards included “Best Food Festival”, “Best Beer/Wine Festival”, “Best Esports Festival”, “Best Use of Production at a Festival”, “Best Production Design”, and more.
Blockchain Pavilion
Blockchain is an emerging technology that has the potential to transform the live event space, and Blockchain Pavilion will offer attendees the opportunity to hear from thought leaders and industry professionals working with blockchain technologies to learn how they can be leveraged moving forward.
