The MALA LUNA Breakdown

This San Antonio based festival is like no other. With musical performances from Cardi B, Dillon Francis, and Lil Pump, this year’s Mala Luna is set to be spectacular. It is a rare and refreshing take to see a music festival with so many hip-hop and rap artists on the lineup.

Tyler the Creator has certainly evolved through his craft and it is very apparent in his live shows. Since the release of his most introspective album, Flower Boy, Tyler has transformed from his multifaceted persona on Goblin to something more in tune with himself. Tyler’s performance is sure to be filled with raw lyricism while still keeping the crowd as hype as ever.

In a different breadth, GTA has continually innovated their craft. The trio has never been so tuned in to the trap scene, but that does not stop them from exploring every genre in their set from heavy dubstep, to dirty deep house. If you need a set to jam and headbang too all at once, GTA is the way to go.

I would be remiss if I did not mention Cardi B who continues to take the world by storm with her pointed music and exuberant personality. Do not miss a chance to see her perform along with her crew at Mala Luna this year.
