Austin, Texas is known for its live music and festival scene, annually showcasing an abundance of festivals like Austin City Limits, FunFunFunFest, and SxSW. There is so much going on that the city has aptly been dubbed “The Live Music Capital of the World”. Even still, despite it’s moniker, Austin has never had a festival specialized for underground house aficionados, who have long felt underserved… Until now! Out of nowhere, Seismic Dance Event announced their inaugural lineup and it’s taking the EDM world by storm with one of the most eclectic, house-heavy array of artists America has ever seen!
Carefully curated by RealMusic Events, an Austin based promotion and event company, this boutique festival features acts that have largely been excluded from the other mainstream or bass festivals across the state. There will be loads of house and techno giants like Lane 8, Duke Dumont, and Armand Van Helden, as well as some of the hottest newcomers to the scene like OMNOM, Sacha Robotti, and RYBO. To top it all off, there will also be a Desert Hearts Takeover with Mikey Lion and Lee Reynolds, so you know there will be endless vibes!
RealMusic also killed it by hosting the festival at Carson Creek Ranch, a beautiful camp nested on the banks of the Colorado River, just minutes away from downtown Austin. It’s the perfect size, – big enough for camping, yet fans can still comfortably walk between the three different stages within minutes. This makes catching multiple sets a breeze!
Be sure to check out this much needed new festival on September 21-22, 2018!
