After the release of Above & Beyond’s latest album, Common Ground,  their tour will finally make its way to Chicago for a full-on takeover in the Windy City this Saturday, February 17th.  The show will be held at Navy Pier featuring supporting artists Oliver Smith and Luttrell.

The last time Above & Beyond made a stop in the Midwest was last summer at Electric Forest in Rothbury, Michigan. Personally, it was only my second A&B set. After seeing them at Spring Awakening Music Festival the summer before, I knew it was a set I wouldn’t dare miss. The beautiful melodies and uplifting trance sounds of then-unreleased Tightrope, Alright Now, and My Own Hymn, alongside absolute classics like Sun and Moon and Sticky Fingers took me on an emotional musical journal that couldn’t be paralleled.  Above & Beyond members, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamaki truly wrote all of their mystically hypnotic talents into Common Ground and produced an album that no one was surprised to see rise to the top of music charts all around the world. Their show is set to be one of the loveliest events in Chicago and is fittingly scheduled during Valentine’s week. Tickets are still available for the show; however, the current tier price is selling out. There is a limited time before discounted 4-packs sell out as well! I couldn’t think of a more romantic double-date idea!  Buy tickets to the navy pier tickets here.

To cap off the night, the Anjunadeep Official After party will be held at The Mid. The after party will feature sets from James Grant and Luttrell with support from Karsten Sollors. If you’ve been to the Anjunadeep x React Presents Trancemission shows in the last few years, you know this is not worth missing! Tickets are still available for the after-party, be sure to snag them before it sells out! Buy the after party tickets here.
