When Light and Sound Collide in Houston, You Have Day for Night

written by Stephanie Rosa

For me, Christmas is coming early. Last month, Day for Night festival unveiled one of the most spectacular lineups for 2016, complete with my favorite musical artists, Odesza. Aside from the Seattle duo, Day for Night wowed festies all over the country with headliners such as Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), Banks, Travis Scott, Kaskade and grammy winner, Aphex Twin, who has not toured in the U.S. for 8 years. Musically, this festival is a must attend.

Day for Night is offering an art-tech spin on the festival  hosting a “Light” lineup. By adding interactive art installations from across the world (including BJÖRK Digital, a 5-room digital experience and DJ set), Day For Night looks promising as a top tier festival in 2016.

And whats better than putting this festival in a 1.5 million square foot hybrid indoor-outdoor spot in an old post office?

With 15 “Light” lineup companies, and 62 musical acts starting at just $150 for two days, it looks like I’m planning a trip to Houston.

See you in Houston!
