Earlier last week, Firefly Festival dropped an absolute banger of a lineup. It seems to have come just in time after a slew of lineup announcements from other festivals and many fans and previous attendees began to scratch their heads and ask questions as to why the festivals socials have been so quiet. Let’s just say that it was well worth the wait and well-timed. The Delaware festival held absolutely nothing back with the bookings this year. Don’t just take my word for it, have a look for yourself below.
I know what you’re thinking. “Welp, guess I’m going to Delaware this summer?” After looking at this, how could you not? Dead and center on the lineup graphic is mega-star Billie Eilish, who just absolutely DOMINATED the Grammy’s, then my younger self is screaming at the fact that they’ve got Blink-182 as a headliner, and last but not least the KING of trap and my all-time favorite artist ever, RL Grime. Everything about this Firefly lineup just screams “YES!”
It doesn’t end there though. This festival bill truly has some gems on here that I genuinely can’t get over. I shouldn’t really be surprised though, as they’ve had some pretty incredible lineups in that past. For starters we’ve got two of the biggest artists in French electronic music in the ever so lovely Clozee bringing those jungle-esque vibes to the party alongside the soothing, melodic synths of Petit Biscuit. Those are two acts that I would highly suggest not to miss if you know what’s good for you. There are so many different vibes on this lineup and they are all going to be absolutely splendid. This northeast festival will definitely be on a lot of peoples travel plans this summer, and I’ll be damned if it isn’t on mine too.
The 9th edition of Firefly Music Festival will take place at its usual stomping grounds in The Woodlands located in Dover, DE where it is home to more than 50,000 attendees every summer. This year you can make sure you pack your bags and camping gear and catch all the action from June 18th-21st. On their website you’ll see that you can register for pre-sale, and secure your tickets for the cheapest possible price starting this Friday, January 31st.
