Since 1985, fans, musicians and music industry moguls have congregated at the annual Winter Music Conference. This event has solidified electronic music’s presence in the industry throughout the years by uniting like-minded individuals. Joining the roster for Miami Music Week events, WMC is celebrating its 35th year in Miami Beach from March 16th to the 19th. Historically, the speakers and panelists in attendance include massive music acts as well as titans of the music industry. Well, 2020 is no different.

With over 20 years of experience producing music, Morgan Page is no stranger to the music industry. He’s accomplished it all. From Grammy nominations to worldwide tours. In addition to his success as a producer, he’s extending his reach through partnerships with companies like Alienware, Oculus and even Tesla. Sofi Tukker

Sofi Tukker is another well-known, Grammy-nominated music act that will speak at the WMC. The duo has stolen many hearts with their hugely radical, upbeat and colorful style. Their fluidity in terms of genre is unmatched, as they’re bringing a mix of pop, jungle, house and downright playfulness to the stage. On Thursday, March 19th, you can catch them at the keynote presentation alongside Lyor Cohen of Youtube and Patrick Moxey of Ultra Records.

Jonas Tempel

Beatport co-founder Jonas Tempel is another impressive name on the list of speakers for the conference this year. Although he began his music career as a DJ, Tempel quickly achieved success in the industry. Along with his work at Beatport, his experience extends to working with brands like Beatsource, Beta Nightclub and even Apple Music. If you’re interested in learning to navigate the music industry, this is an important mentor session to attend.

Carl Craig

Hailing straight from the first days of techno in Detroit, Carl Craig is another legend attending WMC this year. I really couldn’t even try to cover how far his impact has reached over the industry in the last 30 years that he’s been producing music. Craig is truly a pioneer of techno. In his session, Craig will cover the influence of powerful underground movements and how techno’s humble beginnings turned into a worldwide sensation.

Lyor Cohen

Lyor Cohen currently holds the position as Youtube’s Global Head of Music. He’s worked with some of the biggest companies in the world, typically standing in as their fearless leader. His resume includes executive leadership positions at Def Jam Records, Universal, Warner, Youtube and Spotify. He even established his own company, 300. He is, in every sense of the word, a music magnate. And rightfully so. Cohen will deliver the keynote presentation at WMC alongside Sofi Tukker and Patrick Moxey.
