What could you do on an island? Islands are small, they might be pretty, but we can’t party like animals there.
Do you say stuff like that? Are you one of those who underestimated what an island could host? Well, hold your jaw because it will drop in a minute! I know many people brag about how the music festival they went to was awesome, and huge. They brag about how amazing the Dj’s and the other artists were. None of them will see this one coming. The artists we will feature today will come on an island, and they will play the soul out of everyone.
These musicians are some of the best in the world, and they are all coming together in one place, no not just a place – the most beautiful island, the island of Sziget!
The Stellar Line-up!
Jaw didn’t drop? Hold your laughter, it’s about to. This year you will tell your date that “I don’t deserve this darling, You look perfect tonight”, see the island and sing to yourself “ I am in love with the shape of you” because Ed Sheeran is coming to make everything perfect and beautiful. Ed Sheeran is good enough to shake the island out of its senses but hold your breath because it doesn’t end here. This is just the beginning!
Prepare to “Send in Your Skeletons” because the Foo Fighters will be coming to perform for you, on the most beautiful, and culture filled island. You will know that the festival is amazing when you don’t have to worry about the “Only 20 Dollars” in your pocket, as you sing along to Macklemore! Be assured that you will not wish to “turn back time to the good old days” when your momma sang you to sleep because you will not be “stressed out”. 21 Pilots, the band who sang Heathens for the Suicide Squad, will make sure that you become alive with the island. No no, it doesn’t end here. Buckle up it only gets better! You wanted to party like a hardcore animal, right? Consider this your lucky day because you got exactly what you wished for! Martin Garrix the composer of “Animals” and “In the Name of Love” is here to make you party yourself to the heavens themselves! Most people will have gone by now to purchase the tickets to Sziget Festival, which by the way starts in less than 4 days, but I advise you not to keep on reading so that you know what Sziget’s week long festival will do to you. To make things short and speed things up, I’ll name the artists that are about to surprise the audience with nuclear shock and awe. And if you still feel like you need more you can start “feeling like a Rockstar” with Post Malone.

What you can do:
The Sziget festival is versatile. The people are welcoming, and the island is amazing for the food-lunatics. The festival has a lot of art performances. Almost every kind that you can think of. The versatility is great over here. You can literally take part in a sports event that’s hosted. A sports event in a musical festival! Isn’t that kind of crazy? Doesn’t matter because it is fun. You can join the circus, or the LGBT Club and perform yourself. There are literally tons of opportunities for fun lovers. They even host a boat party. Each day of the week is vibrant. From 7 to 15 you can swing your soul with the musicians and literally nationals from all over the World! The island may be small but it sure has outdone itself by hosting one of the biggest festivals ever!
About Sziget:
Hajógyári Island or Óbudai-sziget is a Danubian island in Budapest. Located in District III, it is a popular recreational area, year-round. It is the home of the international Sziget Festival every August. Originally known as Aquincum, by AD 89 it was home to the Roman Legion of 6,000 men. The island has grown to this date as one of the most beautiful destinations of the world. It has the most amazing food for the food lovers, and its hospitality is amazing. Sziget hosts one of the biggest music festivals every year in August.
