Ready to kick off the summer in a warm and fun fashion in northeast Ohio? Located to the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, LaureLive is sure to light up the night on June 8th & 9th! LaureLive is a weekend music, art, and culinary festival that takes place on Laurel School’s 150-acre campus located in Russell and Chester Township. This family friendly event will also feature children’s activities and educational events.
LaureLive released their 2019 lineup earlier this year featuring Hozier and Sheryl Crow headlining, along with a number of supporting acts. You can view the full lineup below:
Lineup Highlights
This two day festival is packed full of a variety of genres. Featuring artists you grew up listening to and new up-and-coming artists that you’ll instantly love.
Day one headlines with Hozier, but also features mostly alternative artists, along with reggae, and rock. The last time I saw Hozier was at Firefly 2016 and he poured his soul into performing on stage and I became an instant fan. I can’t wait to hear his new music live! Every time I’ve seen Misterwive, they always put on an energetic live performance and get the crowd dancing and moving. Moon Taxi might be one of the acts I’m most excited to see at LaureLive. I’ve been following this alternative/indie band from Nashville, Tennessee for the last few years, but have never been able to make it out to one of their shows. I’m ready to dance at day one of LaureLive!
Day two headlines with the one and only Sheryl Crow, along with soulful, hip hop, and indie artists, among other genres. I grew up listening to Sheryl Crow and her songs are nostalgic. I can remember exact moments where her songs were playing, especially during the summer season. AJR is an artist I can’t wait to see live. Just like Moon Taxi, I’ve followed AJR for a few years, but never had an opportunity to see them, and can’t wait to see their live set! Red Sun Rising is a local Ohio artist and one that I have seen in the past. They always bring the fire and I can’t wait to hear their new music.
