Welcoming some of the biggest artists across the globe in past years, Canadian festival, Osheaga has officially announced their 2019 line-up, and it’s no exception. Since its launch in 2006, Osheaga has made headlines for being one of the, if not, the biggest Canadian summer festivals.
The three-day festival, held over the weekend of August 2nd-4th, features a different headliner each day, grouped with a variety of different acts and genres to hit everyone’s needs. With the likes of City and Colour, Tame Impala, and Childish Gambino named as some of this years headliners, a surplus of other artists were also revealed to be joining the list, including Flume, Gucci Mane, Logic, Hozier, and break out Canadian artist Lennon Stella.
This year, Osheaga will return to Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau, although the festival will take place on its original grounds up until two years ago, though the site itself has undergone renovations. The location is conveniently located directly beside the metro station, making the commute easy and accessible.
Passes for the 2019 festival can be found on sale online through the official Osheaga website.
General passes for all three days $325, the Gold Pass which includes private washrooms and entry to the Osheaga Terrace are $585, and Platinum Passes, which includes shuttle bus services, backstage tours, and access to the Platinum Lounge go for $1250.
So, pack your bags, its time for a road trip.
