We’re still thinking about One Love Cali Reggae Fest that happened this past February 8-10 at the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Although the weather was incredibly inconsistent, it didn’t stop attendees from dressing up, expressing themselves and having a good time.

One Love Cali’s venue included a massive beer garden and dining area where attendees would be able to grab a drink and relax while listening to the music at the nearby stages. This area was conveniently located where you wouldn’t have to travel too far to get to both stages.

Speaking of the stages, there were so many talented and amazing artists that graced the KOI and SMKFWR stages during the three days of this sold-out event. Here are some of our favorite sets:

Sammy Johnson

Sammy Johnson was one of those sets on Sunday where the rain was not your best friend. All-in-all though, this clearly became a set favorite because of the energy from both the crowds and by the artists on stage. In the videos below you would think that these were at two different times and two different sets. Nope. All within the same set.

The first video above you can clearly see it pouring down during Sammy Johnson’s set. However, in this second video provided below it’s definitely clear blue skies and no rain in sight.

Josh Heinrichs

Josh Heinrichs, joined by SkillinJah and the Voltron Band, was another amazing Sunday performance on the SMKFWR stage. All the live instruments that these artists brought for this set made it all the more fun for everyone to jam out.

Other notable acts included Dirty Heads, Matisyahu, and The Movement. Analea, who opened the SWKFWR stage on Saturday was also an amazing act for starting off day two’s lineup. Despite the weather, Goldenvoice was able to ensure that there wouldn’t be any sound or stage issues throughout the entire weekend.

Again we would like to thank Goldenvoice for giving us the opportunity to be back at the Queen Mary for this year’s One Love Cali Reggae Fest in Long Beach. Rain or shine, this event was incredibly successful and we had an amazing time yet again for this year’s festival. One Love Cali definitely set the tone for the upcoming festival season with its amazing vibes and beautiful venue. If you’re looking to attend a reggae festival, whether you’re a huge fan or a music lover itching to try a new festival, then One Love Cali is the one to attend.
