This year marks the 10th installment of one of the best music festivals around, and the 2019 lineup is arguable one of the best so far! This rock and hip hop heavy lineup features some power houses in the music industry and a lot of fantastic up and coming bands! Check out the 2019 lineup below!
The Headliners
All three of this year’s headliners are poised to have huge years in 2019! Twenty One Pilots just released their latest album titled Trench back in October after an extended hiatus. Now the boys are back and embarking on a massive world tour. Boston Calling is the first festival in the United States that they have been added to. Travis Scott also just recently released his latest album Austroworld and is heading out on tour. Travis has plenty of experience headlining festivals over the last year including Okeechobee, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits. His show will be wild from start to finish! Tame Impala is also rumored to be releasing a new album this year! Tame Impala is set to have a crazy year as they have been announced as the headliners for Coachella and Shaky Knees as well as Boston Calling.

This lineup is stacked with so many fantastic rock acts that it’s hard to narrow down just a few! Other than the headliners, there are a couple bands that you should check out. Greta Van Fleet is most definitely one of those. Dubbed as the modern day Led Zeppelin, this young band took the world by storm and has no signs of slowing down. Greta Van Fleet just recently released their first album Anthem Of The Peaceful Army and has been added to numerous festival lineups across the world. Other bands you should consider checking out are Hozier, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Lord Huron! (just to name a few)

Hip Hop To Funk
Anderson .Paak is one of my favorite hip hop artists and is poised to have a big year in 2019. Paak just recently released his third studio album back in November titled Oxnard. This album had a funky feel to it and features other hip hop powerhouses including Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Snoop Dogg! Paak is setting out on a huge tour starting next month in support of his new album, and Boston Calling will be one of many stops! Other than Anderson .Paak, Boston Calling has some other fantastic hip hop/ funk artists. Janelle Monae is one of the most talented and empowering acts on the lineup. She has already been announced as a co-headliner of Coachella and has taken the stage at countless other festivals over the years. Janelle Monae is one act you should not miss!
