Behold, it’s Bonnaroo lineup drop day!! We are just as excited as everyone else about this lineup, so check it out below for yourselves!

With a diverse lineup, Bonnaroo looks like they are going back to some of their old roots of jam and legacy artists. A quick glance at the lineup has a handful of big names each day that were not headliners a few years back. Lets take a look at some artists who are now headlining Bonnaroo, but weren’t the last time they performed in Manchester, Tennessee.

Childish Gambino

Donald Glover, otherwise known as Childish Gambino, has taken the world by storm since he was at Bonnaroo last in 2015. He has a TV show he stars in, headlining numerous festivals and selling out arenas on tour, and has appeared in some movies. Childish Gambino was rumored to be the replacement for Kanye West after disputes over the stage setup. He is also one of my favorite rappers who can perform without a live band and still sound just like he does on his studio albums!

ODESZA

Clayton and Harrison, the duo behind ODESZA, are making their appearance back at the farm since closing down one of the tents in 2015. Since then, they have been selling out their headlining tours in the US and Europe, released A Moment Apart, and were nominated for 2 Grammy’s. After their historic 2018 show at Coachella making history with the 420 synchronized drones during their live performance, ODESZA looks to have their set moved to either the Which or What stage for 2019!

GRiZ

Grant Kwiecinski, otherwise known as GRiZ, was popping up all around Bonnaroo in 2016 from his live set to secret RV and Kalliope DJ set to being featured in the superjam lead by Kamasi Washington. Since performing last in 2016, GRiZ took a long break from social media, sold out his headlining tours and Red Rocks shows, debuted his live band, and gave back to the city of Detroit for his 12 days of GRiZmas in 2016-2018. Will GRiZ (hopefully) make more surprise appearances around the farm in 2019?

RL Grime

Henry Steinway, otherwise known as RL Grime, is back at the farm for the first time since 2016. Since performing in one of the tents, he has released his album NOVA and sold out his headlining tour. Steinway also has his yearly releases of his Halloween mixes and his 2018 mix featured an audio clip from Shaq aka DJ Diesel. What surprises will RL Grime have for the Bonnaroo crowd this?
