It’s that time of the year again where you have to decide on how you’d like to ring in the New Year. Luckily for you, we got you covered with a preview of what to expect from Minimal Effort’s NYE party. In its fourth year, Minimal Effort events have quickly become go-to events for those underground music lovers and this NYE event is no different.

This lineup has some of the best house and techno artists seen on out on the festival circuit. Some of these artists are Grammy-nominated producer Sasha, who will be playing an extended set at the main theater, Skream, Layton Girodani, Super Flu, Yokoo, Hats & Klaps, as well as Justin Jay and Will Clarke, VNSSA, Option4 and many more. With eight hours of music, five dance floors bumping Funktion-One sound as well as live painting, vendors, food, lounges, and more Minimal Effort NYE is not an event to miss!

Layton Giordani

A maestro of the techno sound, Layton Giordani hails from New York. He quickly climbed the ranks to play some of the best clubs in New York such as Cielo, Pacha, Space, as well as landing a residency at Output in 2015. Layton’s distinct sound infects and takes over your body once on the dancefloor.

VNSSA

Homegrown talent VNSSA calls Los Angeles home but is originally from Newport Beach. Being a master of controlling a crowd with her funky house beats VNSSA properly set the tone for the weekend at this past years Dirtybird Campout West.

Will Clarke

Hailing all the way from Bristol, United Kingdom the bearded Doing it for the Cuddles house and techno beat master gets weird, dark, and dirty with his exciting sound. Take a listen to some of his most recent releases, “8 Bit”, as well as his remix of “No Place” of RÜFÜS DU SOL to experience just how diverse his sound can be.
