November has arrived and wouldn’t be complete without Trancegiving. What better way to spend a holiday weekend than dancing off all that tryptophan with some of the best DJs and fans in the world? Dreamstate SoCal, also known as the biggest trance festival in North America, returns for its fourth year at the National Orange Show (NOS) Events Center in San Bernardino, California on November 23rd and 24th.
I attend several festivals a year and Dreamstate SoCal has been my favorite since its inception. I may be slightly biased since I love trance, but I feel this festival is truly special and offers something for everyone. Even as it has grown into a full-blown massive, the welcoming PLUR vibes have been more alive than ever and I’m sure this year will be no exception. The futuristic, ethereal atmosphere is unmatched and Insomniac pulls out all the stops when it comes to production, with several stages featuring the full gamut of all that is trance. One of these stages will be the epic megastructure, which made an appearance at Escape: Psycho Circus and will surely get a makeover to take it from spooky to dreamlike.
Some people have this idea that trance is boring and repetitive, and to them I say brace yourselves because Dreamstate is actually home to a wide variety of mind blowing sounds. From euphoric and melodic to dark and uptempo, this otherworldly festival has it all.
This year’s Dreamstate lineup does not disappoint and features artists from the full trance spectrum, including trance pioneer BT, ascendant sensation Factor B, Pure Trance architect Solarstone, psytrance powerhouse Vini Vici, unicorn slaying Markus Schulz, and long-standing icon Paul Van Dyk. Also on this lineup are B2Bs aplenty, like Sneijder vs. Sied Van Riel, Liquid Ace, and Lost in Noise, as well as special projects from heavy hitters Ferry Corsten, Gareth Emery, and Sander Van Doorn. There are so many crowd pleasers, legends, Dreamstate veterans, and on-the-rise artists completely jam-packed into these two days. We’re honestly surprised it’s not a three-day massive but we are blessed and thankful for Insomniac going all out for this year. If you don’t believe us, here’s the incredible lineup below!
Both general admission and VIP tickets for North America’s trance destination are still available on their website! Be sure to buy passes for this as soon as possible because you don’t want to miss their biggest Trancegiving event to date.
