Three Sets for Sunset

I have to selfishly admit, there are very few people on this planet I would skip a music festival for. Considering I’m skipping both Hangout and EDC Las Vegas for this little booger, I must really love him. While I will be *probably crying* at my brother’s salutatorian speech for his high school graduation, the rest of the festival world will either be raving in Vegas or chilling on the Gulf Shores. The only thing that could possibly help me get over missing those two huge festivals is another festival. And that’s where Sunset Music Festival comes in. SMF is returning to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on May 26th and 27th. Featuring a lineup stacked with artists like Marshmello, Excision, Illenium, JOYRYDE, Boogie T, Hippie Sabotage, A-Trak and so many more, you can’t possibly tell me you have better plans for your Memorial Day weekend.

I’m even going to let you guys in on a little secret. Here are three artists you absolutely should not miss at Sunset or at any other festival you might find yourself at.

JOYRYDE

English DJ and Producer, John Ford (aka JOYRYDE) always puts on a killer show that always has me and everyone around me jumping and dancing like there’s no tomorrow. Just thinking about his set at EDC Orlando this past year makes me smile like a goon.

Marshmello

Getting invited backstage during Marshmello’s set at Hangout Music Festival last year was definitely one of the very few peaks in my life. After that experience, I became quite a fan. Really looking forward to this set at Sunset… and maybe getting backstage again?

Anna Lunoe

I love a good female DJ, especially when they are so scarce on these types of lineups. This Australian DJ, vocalist, songwriter and producer has performed at some of the biggest festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra, and TomorrowWorld. I remember watching festival lifestreams in bed (green with envy), and Anna Lunoe caught my attention. I’m really looking forward to experiencing her set in person in Tampa.

These three artists, plus the rest of the line up, AND the stage takeovers by All My Friends and Brownies & Lemonade sound like a really great weekend, and I can’t wait to be there to experience my first Sunset Music Festival!

Be sure to grab those tickets here, and we’ll see you in Tampa on May 26th and 27th for Sunset Music Festival 2018!
