For every festie that has plans to spend summer in Europe, Sziget Festival is a must stop place! With an amazing line-up, Sziget proved once again that it is one of the best festivals in Europe. First of all, it is a festival in Budapest, or precisely, on Danube Island in the center of Budapest. It is been labeled as European Burning Man for its eccentricity. Don’t expect to be exactly like a Burning Man, but it has cool vibes, amazing music, and awesome people.

Budapest will be a great experience for any traveler because it has amazing architecture, historical landmarks, very cool people, and last, but not least, incredible traditional Hungarian food. Hungarian cuisine is worldwide known as delicious and little bit spicy. So, festies, prepare yourself for a very active week, because during the day you will definitely don’t want to miss all the magic that Budapest has to offer.
Sziget will begin on 8th of August and will last for one week, until 15th. This year slogan is “Join Love Revolution” and it brings some of the major names in the music world.

Festie friends that decide to go to Sziget will have a chance to see Dua Lipa, Gorillaz, Shawn Mendes, Mumford and Sons, Liam Gallagher, Bastille, Lyke Li, Kaleo, Parov Stelar, The Kooks, Clean Bandit, Milky Chance, Seasick Steve, and many other names that are a guarantee of amazing experience.
Arctic Monkeys are one of the best indie rock bands in the world. Their last album was rated through the roof, and since they are working on a new material, Sziget could be one of the first places to hear new songs.
Kendrick Lamar one of the hottest hip-hop names in the world will be one of the major names this year. After successful DAMN and Black Panther soundtrack albums, he will definitely bring some Californian heat in the summer.
Kygo Norwegian DJ sensation will visit Sziget once again and after an amazing show in 2016, there is no doubt that Kygo will prove once again why he is one of the best DJs today.
