Ultimate Guide to Ultra Bali

Ultra Beach Bali is just around the corner! Don’t miss out on your chance to festival in paradise. They recently announced the final phase of their lineup and it’s time to finish those travel plans! In preparation for the upcoming festivities here are some details to help you plan:

Who to See

Various artists from all across the globe will unite at Ultra Beach Bali. Djs will be coming from the Netherlands, France, Canada, USA, and other countries. Thursday will feature headliners Hardwell and Zedd. Getter, Rezz, and recently announced Klingande also will hit the stage that day. More support will be given by w.W and Patricia Shultz. Kygo will close out the festival Friday night. Before him will be sets by Nicky Romero and Slushii. Other Friday performers include Carta, Devarra, Marc Benjamin, Stan, and Third Party. There is only one stage so you should have no problem catching all the artists (if you have the stamina).

How to Get There

There are many options for getting around in Bali. Some of the most common are taxis, bemos (vans that operate like buses), Uber (which isn’t always reliable due to tensions with local taxi drivers), hiring a private car/driver, or by bus. There are options to rent a car or motorcycle but these options come with the higher risk of driving in a foreign country. The Potato Head Beach Club is located a little more than 8 miles away from the airport so it shouldn’t be too costly to get around. Some hotels may offer a shuttle service from the airport so be sure to check with them first.

Where to Stay

The event will take place at Potato Head Beach Club on Seminyak Beach. Places to stay range anywhere from about $8- $508 a night. For those traveling on a budget, M Boutique Hostels is only a 13 minute walk from the venue. There are also a host of other hostels just a short cab ride away. If you are looking to splurge, the W Bali is very close to the venue. It has luxurious rooms with breathtaking views. If traveling with a group, there are many houses on Airbnb just minutes from the venue as well. The festival has also paired up with a group of hotels to create special travel. Each package includes two tickets, a two night hotel stay, and a host of other amenities pending the price point.

What to Wear

It will be hot and it will be humid. While it is the dry season, the humidity is still at about 70%. The temperature will range from the low 70’s to the high 80’s. Just in front of the stage there is a pool so you will want to wear your bathing suit! Due to humidity, light and airy clothing made of linen or cotton are best. Pictures from years past show mostly attendees in crop tops or bathing suit tops and jorts or short sleeve button ups and shorts. As always, comfy festival shoes and a fanny pack/hydration pack are also recommended.

Extras

In addition to VIP tickets, attendees have the opportunity to purchase table service as well. According to their website “ULTRA Bali’s signature VVIP table provides attendees a celebrity experience of hospitality and service accompanied by the best viewing area.” Get a crew together and ball out on the beach!

Aside from the amazing two nights of music, the island has many fun sights to see and adventures to be had! Spend a couple extra days scuba diving, surfing, or rafting. See everything from temples, to volcanos, to hot springs. Or just simply recover on the beach. There are plenty of options on the beautiful island of Bali.

Ultra Beach Bali will take place on September 14th and 15th. Get your tickets here.
