At a Glance

My Life Every Day (LED) has been throwing parties down in San Diego for over six years. Their annual LED USA held over Memorial Day Weekend brought a wide array of artists, from Zeds Dead to Destructo and Wiwek, there was no shortage of dance music that pleased the ears of all attendees.

QUICK FACTS

Music genre – All genres of EDM. House music conquered the second day of the event.

Camping: No.

Capacity: Extra small: 3k-5k.

Crowd type:  Chill and on the younger side.

Water stations: Yes. Water fountains on the upper level.

For The First Timers – This is held at the Valley View Casino Center, 15 minutes from Downtown San Diego. There are hotels, motels, and Air BnB’s within walking distance of the venue so book early! The show runs from 9pm-4am, so be sure to get some rest to be able to party all night long. Since it’s only one stage, you never have to miss an artist! There are also stadium seats you can relax in yet still watch the show.

Standout Food – Typical stadium food – popcorn, nachos, pretzels, and pizza. I was hooked on the Wetzel Pretzel stand and the Kona Brewing bar.

Musical HighlightsSAYMYNAME, aka the Godfather of Hard Trap, has been blowing up the scene. His energy flooded the dance floor and had everyone banging their heads. He is on my never miss list and should be on yours too.

Things To Do –  There’s a hidden bar lounge on the floor ground that is a great place to chill between sets. Other than that, it’s in your face music all night long.

VIP or Nah  – VIP is not offered at this event.

Story Corner – I’ve been attending LED events for the last four years and the production value is higher than most events out there. The acts they bring are the biggest in the industry and their visuals & lasers never cease to amaze. The venue holds a special place in my heart; it is where my (now) husband proposed to me four years ago. As long as LED keeps doing what they’re doing, they’ll have an attendee in me.
