Founders Entertainment has done it again with another legit New York lineup. I just caught wind about this lineup recently and it is definitely killer. I have not seen any of the top three headliners in concert yet: Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gorillaz. In one place, say what!? But then it keeps going. Other artists that I have not seen that I look forward to at The Meadows Music and Arts Festival include: Erykah Badu, Milky Chance, and M.I.A.
The Governor’s Ball sibling is set at the New York Mets Citi Field in Queens, New York. In only its second year, The Meadows Music and Arts Festival is already giving attendees promising performances with the lineup release. Fans will clash from the likes of rap and hip hop, indie rock, and electronic music. It is possible you might see an indie rock Basshead dabbin rail side. It is always interesting to see how different artists are accepted in different regions. (IE: 50 Cent got booed at Birthday Bash last summer just before Future came out and everyone went nuts.)
I would love to experience a festival in New York City; it’s bound to get weird. I have seen at least ten of the artists on the lineup already so I know the music is going to be phenomenal. The tickets are worth every penny. Worth it off the fact alone that you are taking a trip to New York City. The weather should be perfect since it will be fall.
