Arise Music Festival: It Begins With Community

Colorado’s fastest growing celebration is back for its 5th edition of much more than just a music festival- promising workshops, enriching yoga classes, provocative documentary films and panel discussions, art installations, live painters, an art gallery, performance artists, and even theme camps. ARISE also provides “interactive villages” such as the Hemp Village and the Solution’s Village, the second of which focuses on ecological and social justice solutions that are designed to make our world a better place. Basically, ARISE is the place to be this August 4th-6th, 2017.

The artists showcased for this run are not something to be taken for granted, living up to the diversity that has been admired in previous years. Genres cover brilliant performances including but not limited to the hip-hop, electronic, reggae, bluegrass, funk, and rock n’ roll varieties. Tipper, Beats Antique, Ziggy Marley, and Sunsquabi are just a few of the epic acts that await at Sunrise Ranch this August.

Located on a gorgeous, 350- acre organic farm and retreat center just a little west of Loveland, the mountain views are going to be nothing short of breathtaking. These beautiful grounds will be shown extra love and care over the course of the weekend, especially with their progressive “global cooling” initiatives such as the pre-festival permaculture training, a leave-no- trace motto, and even an organic farmer’s market in the campground.
