Bassrush events have been held across the country for a while now and often host speaker-smashin’ stages at Insomniac events, such as the curated event at Electric Forest 2016 featuring G Jones, Eprom, and NGHTMRE, to name a few. The events revolve around bass-oriented music such as trap, future bass, and dubstep- the types of music that will bring any basshead out of hibernation. Created originally by the LA-based promoter Insomniac, the Massive has been popping up with new locations and growing rapidly. With the flourishing electronic music scene in Arizona, the event will be making its debut in the valley of the sun this May 6th, 2017.
Adventure Club, Flux Pavillion, NGHTMRE, Andy C, Herobust, SayMyName, Phiso, and Tisoki are on the itinerary for Rawhide Event Center, and with local Phoenix event promoters Relentless Beats involved, expect great organization and smooth sailin’ in comfort. That is, the unique kind of comfort found in head-banging and feeling the vibrations of the music through the ground beneath you.
