It is hard to believe that NYE weekend has arrived! Hotel rooms have been reserved, outfits have been planned, and, most importantly, set times have been released. Hopefully Santa granted your wishes and there are no conflicts for you! It can be overwhelming to make a plan and stick with it. After all, some of the world’s best dj’s and producers will be at Decadence and we know that you want to see them all. If you are clueless on where to begin, I can offer a couple pieces of advice.

Don’t miss GRiZ
GRiZ has had a busy and successful year to say the least. After wrapping up a giant tour across America he almost immediately announced a jealousy-inducing European tour starting January 2017. Seeing GRiZ in Milan? Bucketlist. Simultaneously, he was coordinating the 12 Days of GRiZmas, which helped raise $50,000 in donations for Little Kids Rock. It is clear that this man is on top of his game. I had the opportunity to see two sets of his this summer, and both were equally diverse, funky, and full of love. I am positive GRiZ will pull out all of his best tricks for this Decadence set and help us end 2016 on the best note possible. If you aren’t familiar with GRiZ, here is a short playlist made of a few personal favorites to help you get you acquainted. He will be spinning at the Daydream Stage from 9:50-10:50PM on December 30th.

Check out Electric Family
Electric Family specializes in fashion that helps dance music lovers stay united with their community and the music during “real life”. Luckily for Decadence Colorado attendees, the brand will be present in the vendor area on both days. Enjoy the Art
Every year, one of my favorite parts of Decadence are the eclectic art installments. Whether it be dancers gracefully floating atop the crowd in giant hamster balls or LED lights lining the ceilings perfectly synced to the rhythm- art is everywhere for you to enjoy. So please, shamelessly take those selfies and be attentive to what is going on around you, because there is always something new to see. The environment is satisfying for every one of your senses and you will without a doubt be glad you chose to ring in the new year at Decadence. Don’t forget that as attendees of the event, you are encouraged to dress to up and be a part of the art too!
