The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa is like home to me. It’s where I attended my first music festival ever (RIP Big Guava, it was a good two years), and where I once found myself so completely in love with a full day’s roster of artists that I went 12 hours with no food, water, or bathroom.
That was last year at alternative radio station 97X’s Next Big Thing music festival. This year, I’m almost relived to be ever so slightly less excited for the lineup…I could use a break from the crash barricade. That said, one of my absolute favorite bands, The 1975, is headlining, and I just might have to squeeze my way forward before Matty takes the stage. I never considered anyone desperately delicious until I saw him live for the first time, and let’s just say it had a serious effect on me (and my musical interests).
