Sometimes the best part about a music festival is discovering new talent. Sure, people purchase tickets for the headliners and the fun, but a festival experience becomes even more unique and memorable when stumbling across a hidden gem.
William Phillips—co-writer of Sam Smith’s legendary “Stay With Me”—just released his debut album U last week, and we can’t wait to watch him take festival season by a storm. The 27 year old producer known as Tourist kicks off his U.S. appearances at Hangout Music Festival, performing in the Boom Boom Tent on Saturday at 1:30pm.
His music is thought provoking, unique, and genre defying. Listen for yourself! Check out U below.
