The Dirty Disco Guide: Everything You Need To Know About Arizona’s Hardest Party

Guest written by Vladimir Madorsky

In 2010, Sam Groove organized a low key desert rave in Arizona and he called it the Dirty Disco. Unexpectedly, a thousand people showed up and had an unforgettable experience. Realizing he had momentum, Groove partnered with Hades Entertainment to push the growth of Dirty Disco. The summer party now consistently brings in world class artists, repeatedly mesmerizes the audience with state of the art production, and continues to be very professionally put together. Dirty Disco returns to the Rodeo Arena at Rawhide on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

A Few Reasons Not to Miss Dirty Disco

  1. According to Groove, the stage is going to be bigger and dirtier than ever this year. Expect more fire cannons, extra lasers blasting through the sky, and thicker sound bumping through both the ground and air for an unbelievable production at Rawhide.
  2. The Hades team reeled in a stacked list of fire performers who will ensure your experience at this party is extraordinary. With booming bass and fire all around you, your body’s bound to be spiking with adrenaline the whole time!
  3. The lineup is going to hit so hard that you’ll probably still be hearing residual beats coming from your pan when you’re frying an egg the following morning! Expect Hardstyle, DNB, Tech, Bass, Dub, Trance and anything in between at this event. Lineup is listed below.

Lineup

This year’s headliner is OWSLA’s Getter, who tears apart the dance floor with annihilating dub, and happens to also be the originator behind the viral hit Suh Dude on Youtube. The bass heavy list this year also includes Bryan Kearney, Dirty Audio, Freedom Fighters, Herobust, Metrik, Wasted Penguinz and it doesn’t stop there. The main stage will also feature sets from local DJs Brett Ortiz, Tempus, Ghost Effect, and the originator himself, Sam Groove.

Edit: A surprise headliner has been added to the show!

Set You Cannot Miss

Atlanta based producer Hayden Kramer, known as Herobust. Something about his extremely wicked mix of sounds has us waiting restlessly for his appearance. Heavy bass, hip-hop, industrial machinery…whatever it is, his sound is out of this world and it needs to be heard. Get out there for a taste of that dirty south!

What To Bring

This party is all about people grooving to the united sound of electronic music. As long as you comply with Hades list, bring whatever you feel best expresses your love for the monstrous tunes, head banging, and shuffling with your friends and fellow ravers. The Rodeo Arena at Rawhide can get dusty so we recommend bringing a bandana or another form of a dust mask. Expect what you wear to get dirty by the end of the night. Other recommendations: camelbak, earplugs, glowsticks, hoops, gloves, flow toys, totems, LEDs.

Pricing

The event is reasonably priced. GA ticket for $60 or VIP ticket for $80. Get your tickets here.

Weather

The weather will be clear. Hi 95 Lo 68. If you plan on being active by the stage, you’ll be really comfortable all night long.
