Break out the band tees, dust off your old MySpace profile, and prepare your neck accordingly because Furnace Fest is back in Birmingham, Alabama, October 10–11, 2026, and this year’s lineup is an absolute time machine for anyone raised on metalcore, hardcore, post-hardcore, and emo.
Returning to the unmistakable industrial grounds of Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, Furnace Fest 2026 will pack more than 60 artists across three stages for two days of breakdowns, circle pits, reunions, and some seriously nostalgic album-era energy. The historic former blast furnace has become inseparable from Furnace Fest, giving the festival one of the most unique backdrops in the heavy music scene.
And looking at this lineup, one thing is clear: Furnace Fest understood the assignment.
A Lineup Straight Out of Your Teenage iPod
At the top of the 2026 bill are A Day To Remember and Bring Me The Horizon, joined by a stacked roster that includes Circa Survive, Underoath, Motionless In White, Slaughter To Prevail, Chiodos, We Came As Romans, Hatebreed, Poison the Well, Kublai Khan TX, Norma Jean, Suicide Silence, Bleeding Through, Chelsea Grin, Emmure, Carnifex, Stick To Your Guns, The Plot In You, Hail the Sun, Emery, Origami Angel, Microwave, Free Throw, Angel Du$t and plenty more.
There are also a few performances that push this lineup firmly into do not miss territory.
Bring Me The Horizon will perform their 2006 debut album Count Your Blessings in full, making their Sunday headlining set one of the biggest reasons to make the trip to Birmingham. For longtime BMTH fans, hearing the band revisit the deathcore chaos of their earliest era two decades later at Sloss Furnaces is going to be something special.
Underoath will also perform Define the Great Line in full, celebrating another landmark album that turned 20 in 2026. Add the return of Circa Survive to the mix, and Furnace Fest is leaning hard into the albums and artists that shaped an entire generation of alternative music fans.
Basically, if Warped Tour, Hot Topic, and your high school iPod playlist played any meaningful role in your formative years, Birmingham is calling.

Saturday, October 10 kicks the weekend off with A Day To Remember at the top of the bill alongside Circa Survive and Underoath.
The rest of Saturday dives deep into post-hardcore, emo, metalcore, and hardcore with Chiodos, We Came As Romans, Hatebreed, Poison the Well, Cartel, Hail the Sun, Emery, The Almost, Origami Angel, Spite, Stick To Your Guns, Gideon, Pain of Truth, Koyo, No Cure, Ben Quad and more.
It’s the kind of festival day where attempting to make a reasonable schedule is probably going to end in heartbreak.
Sunday: Bring Me The Horizon Brings the Chaos
Sunday, October 11 somehow turns things up another notch.
Bring Me The Horizon closes out Furnace Fest with that rare Count Your Blessings performance, while Motionless In White, Slaughter To Prevail, Kublai Khan TX, The Plot In You, Norma Jean, Suicide Silence, Sleeping Giant, Bleeding Through, Thrown, Emmure, Chelsea Grin, Carnifex, Eighteen Visions, Bodysnatcher, Angel Du$t, Microwave, Winds of Plague, Free Throw and more fill out the day.
Translation: Sunday is going to be heavy. Very heavy.
Furnace Fest Is More Than a Nostalgia Trip
There’s obviously plenty here for elder emos and hardcore kids looking to relive the glory days, but Furnace Fest isn’t simply recycling the past.
Bands like Kublai Khan TX, Thrown, Bodysnatcher, Pain of Truth, Origami Angel, Ben Quad, Carly Cosgrove and others help connect the festival’s roots with the current heavy and alternative scenes.
That balance has always been part of what makes Furnace Fest special. You can spend one set screaming along to a record you first heard 20 years ago and the next discovering a band currently pushing the genre forward.
And unlike the sprawling mega-festivals where seeing your favorite artists can mean hiking miles between stages, Furnace Fest keeps the focus on the music. The festival is all ages, and children 10 and under receive free General Admission with a ticketed adult. Re-entry is permitted until 6:00 PM each day, free water stations will be available, and bags do not have to be clear, although they are subject to search. Festivalgoers can also bring one non-shaded lawn chair per person.
