At Lake Perris State Park in Southern California, splash the heat of September away with Same Same But Different. Returning for its 6th year since 2017, this blossoming festival boasts a stacked lineup, beautiful scenic views, and an endearing sense of community throughout patrons and workers alike. Amazing artists such as Dirtwire, Daily Bread, Ganja White Night, and Zingara, this summer send-off is one you can’t miss!

Begin your days fresh with one of over 75 Movement Workshops, and enjoy a sunny afternoon floating on your giant unicorn atop the lake while Desert Hearts takes over the beach, and with members Lee Reynolds, Marbs, Mikey Lion, and Porky all featured on the line-up, we’re in for a wild ride. An eclectic collective of musicians, artists, and producers, Desert Hearts’ highest ambition is spreading love and acceptance through the power of House and Techno music with the motto, “We are all Desert Hearts”. Start your nights by grooving deep with Big Gigantic, or getting lost in wubs with A Hundred Drums, and keep the vibes going with late night beach parties and hidden stages just waiting to be discovered.

Additionally, another amazing experience featured at Same Same But Different is LightCode by LSDREAM. Debuted in 2018, LightCode is an immersive journey through sound, bathing the listeners in his signature out-of-this-world bass, jaw-dropping visuals, and inspirational lyrics. Whether it’s your first or your fiftieth time, LSDREAM never disappoints and his LightCode project is no exception. With fellow WAKAAN label member Ganja White Night also headlining this festival, we may also be in store for a surprise b2b performance!

Whatever your taste in music, fashion, or art, Same Same But Different offers a little something for everyone, and with the Creation Station as well as the Family Garden Kid Zone, beautiful souls of all ages are welcome. An incredible selection of artisan food and craft vendors offer their wares along the waterfront, and psychedelic art installations surprise you around every corner.

Taking place from September 27th to the 29th, Same Same But Different has a crowd of about 7,500 people, so if you’re just getting into festivals, or looking to enjoy something a little smaller, this one’s for you. Limited tickets are sold with the intention of keeping the festival sustainable and on the more eco-friendly side, and Tier 4 tickets are still available at their website here, so don’t miss your chance!
