After successfully relocating to Portugal in 2017, The BPM (standing for Bartenders, Promoters, and Musicians) Festival announced earlier this year it would expand by hosting its newest installment in Costa Rica, starting in January 2020.

The final lineup was recently unveiled with more than 100 world-class DJs and 20 high-profile showcases spanning over the 5 days leading up to the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. Amongst those performing include Dubfire, DJ Sneak, Skream, Sasha, Nicole Moudaber and many more. There will also be some exclusive performances from legendary duos Deep Dish (Dubfire & Sharam) and Masters at Work (Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez and Louie Vega). All of these artists will be playing amongst the numerous showcases on the bill, including Carl Craig’s “Detroit Love”, Luciano and friends, and Nicole Moudaber’s “Moodzone”. Check out the full lineup below.

For those that want to take a break from all the partying, attendees will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Tamarindo, known for its famous beaches, surfing and wildlife reserves. “Tamarindo is considered the hidden gem of Central America approximately one hour from Liberia International Airport (LIR). Boasting world-renowned surf, an abundance of lush green jungle, breathtaking beaches, and plenty of eco-tourism, attendees will have the opportunity to begin the new year surrounded by stunning Costa Rican scenery to the beat of world-class underground talent.” While Costa Rica has been recently starting to host more and more music festivals, this is by far the largest Tamarindo will see and should pave the way for many more to come.

While this may be a new chapter for BPM, it’s certainly not the first rodeo for the BPM team. The group has recently come off the heels of a successful launch of the festival in Tel Aviv this past September and show no signs of slowing down with the massive launch of the Costa Rica edition of the festival. Having launched the first BPM festival in 2008 in Mexico, the festival has been a pioneer for destination music festivals centered around beautiful weather, beautiful people, and most importantly, beautiful music.

Guests can choose from 3 day and 5 day festival tickets that are on sale now and can be purchased at the festival’s website https://thebpmfestival.com/.
