‘Tis the time for spooky creatures and vibrating bass. Halloween is on the way, which means Nightfall Festival is back this year with another scary lineup. Celebrate Halloween weekend November 1-3 and head down to Denton, Texas for a frightful weekend at the Parker Plantation. The three-day camping festival brings in three haunted attractions and a haunted disco, as well as secret performances.
The three haunted attractions include the Parker Mortuary as well as the Ratliff’s Sanitarium, which is modeled as an insane asylum. Followed by a trail through the woods, Parker’s Plantation will bring out the never-ending screams. In addition, attendees can dare to get lost within the haunted woods and graveyard. An outdoor movie marathon, live visual performances, and nightfall marketplace will also add to the haunted attractions throughout the weekend.
Headliners include dubstep and DnB artists Truth, Dimond Saints, and Moody Good. Throughout the weekend expect haunted performances from Dodge & Fuski, Eastghost, Levitate, Pushloop, a Spicy Bois showcase and many more.
2018’s Nightfall Festival saw performances from the likes of GTA, Eprom, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Crizzly, and many others.
Here are three SPOOKtacular artists fans won’t want to miss:
Kicking off his career just three years ago, Tyler Boston, aka Astralyze, began making music in 2016. As a Milwaukee native, he’s made his rounds sharing the stage with many like-minded artists including Gentlemen’s Club, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Subtronics, SVDDEN DEATH, Protohype, and more. Diving deep into the roots of dubstep music with creating dark sounds and heavy bass, his music is untouchable.
He’s not only a wizard of space but a wizard found deep in the dubstep and bass scene. Creating tracks such as “Game Over” and “Who The,” Space Wizard brings nothing but heat to the stage. While being recognized on the Spicy Bois label, he has collaborated with several other dubstep enthusiasts, working with the likes of NEWSENSEi, Shanghair Doom, Trigem, and mlotik. Don’t miss Space Wizard for the Spicy Boi’s showcase.
Zubah is a 27-year-old artist from the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. Being 1/2 of Detox, Zubah creates music that falls within high energy and bass music. As a fast-rising star, he continues to make dirty sounds to create music known as dubstep and riddim. His music has been released on WONXX Promotions, Damaged Sounds, Dub All Or Nothing, Ascended Audio, and more.
