Illenium To Bring Ascend Tour To Tampa

Get ready to feel all the emotions and all the bass with Illenium’s new album. Ascend will be Illenium’s third full-length album and will be out on August 16th. To add onto that, Illenium will be going on a nationwide tour. That’s right, you don’t have to waddle through a crowd to see Illenium this year. Be prepared for curated sets, openers and much, much more during this tour.

The Ascend Tour will start in Pittsburgh and play in over 30 cities across the U.S. This tour will stop at cities like Indianapolis, Austin, Kansas City, and more. So, no matter where in the United States you are, an opportunity to catch this tour is coming. This tour will also see Illenium play in London, Germany, and Austria. In total, this tour will play to about 250,000 fans – that’s a lot of Illenials!

Where To See The Tour

Illenium is going above and beyond with some of his stops this tour. Madison Square Garden, The Coca Cola Roxy, and the STAPLES Center are just a couple of epic venues the DJ will be playing. And if you’re a Florida native, get ready to experience Ascend on October 19th at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. Florida is a state often skipped, so to see such a big artist come here NOT for a festival is a pretty big deal.

You may be asking yourself what we might be expecting to hear on this tour/new album. Illenium has a strong discography and has released quite a few new songs this year. The new album will feature tracks like “God Damnit”, “Crashing”, “Pray”, and “Good Things Fall Apart”. And, of course, we’re sure there will be plenty of tracks we haven’t even heard yet on this album.

Illenium’s previous album Awake was released in September 2017 and had quite the success. Getting to #3 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, we can only hope for the same with Ascend. But, with his huge fanbase we’re sure Illenium will have no problem selling out arenas, and making it to the top of any chart.

And with new music, comes a whole new production. Previously, we’ve seen Illenium bring out a full band in addition to his graphics and set up with his Awake tour. With this success of his previous tours and seeing him at EDC Orlando, I am stoked to experience this for myself. Curated tours always have something a little more special than festivals.
