This off season has not been an easy one for Hula hopefuls all over this country. Earlier this year, news about some financial issues and the announcement that producers Silver Wrapper would no longer be putting on events left everyone skeptical of a 2019 return of Hulaween. Don’t stress any more Hula fans, confirmation of 2019 festival dates have been made and the stacked lineup is finally here! Four days of fantastic performances slotted from October 24th-27th and an immersive art experience makes the Spirit of The Suwannee Music Park the place to be this Halloween! This music festival is quickly becoming one of the best Halloween themed music festivals around. There will be some changes made at this year’s Hulaween with new producers but the same spirit and killer lineup will still be there!
The Lineup At A Glance
Once again Hulaween brings a great lineup with a perfect blend of EDM, funk and jam to Live Oak, Florida. The String Cheese Incident, the band behind Hulaween and Electric Forest, are back and brought all of their friends! Headlining alongside The String Cheese Incident is Bassnectar, Anderson Paak. & The Free Nationals, and Jason Issabell & The 400 Unit. Each night brings a totally different headlining performance showcasing the diversity Hulaween brings all weekend long. The middle and lower portion of this year’s lineup is where Hulaween brings the heat! Multiple sets from both STS9 and Umphrey’s McGee as well as performances from Flying Lotus, Greensky Bluegrass, Manic Focus, Lettuce, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, CloZee, Jai Wolf, and Big Wild are just a few of the fantastic artists performing this weekend. Seriously, it’s already going to be hard enough to see everyone I want to on this lineup and Hulaween plans on adding more! Check out the full first phase of the lineup below and stay tuned for more additions!
The production value behind Hulaween each year is top notch and definitely sets it apart from all other music festivals. The String Cheese Incident are no strangers to helping put on festivals having helped contribute each year to the magic that is Electric Forest, to one of the best festivals in the country. The same interactive, immersive art experience is brought down south to Live Oak, Florida but with a unique Halloween twist to it. Live artists, walk through art installations, costumed festival goers, and live flow artists are just a few of the crazy things featured throughout the forest in The Spirit of Suwannee Music Park. The festival also transforms once the sun goes down into a wild world full of lights and forest creatures and festival goers dressed in their best Halloween costumes.
