SnowBombing will be held at Sun Peaks Resort in British Colombia, Canada from April 5-7, 2019. So not only is it a music festival, but it’s also a weekend for snowboarding/skiing on the epic slopes of Sun Peaks. Spend the day skiing with your friends, and then go from a day of epic skiing straight to the stages with epic sets. Skiing plus EDM? Who could want anything more?
Within the venue, there are seven different stages. “The Street Party” is a stage located on the mountain, “The Sunset Terrace” is located at the top of the chairlift and is a patio stage where festival goers can enjoy food and drinks, and “Basecamp” is a stage located at the bottom of the mountain. If you’re looking for lightshows and lasers, check out “The Crystal Cave” stage which is located inside of the the Sun Peaks Grand! For anyone looking for a more intimate vibe, check out “The Underground” where one can find dark house, techno, and bass music. One can also change up their experience by vibing out at “The Cariboo Club” or “Morrisey’s”! Each stage has a very different feel to it based on it’s location, with some being on the mountain with breath taking views, some at the bottom of the mountain, and some indoors where attendees can warm up.
Spread out amongst these stages are many well known artists, including Illenium, Cypress Hill, Adventure Club, and Griz as headliners. Supporting artists include Lane 8, Slander, Claptone, Pendulum, Drezo, Emancipator, Sasha, Yotto, Anna Lunoe, and Said the Sky, as well as many others! All in all, SnowBombing has a very unique set-up regarding the stages, as well as a line up that includes artists from all genres! There will be something for everyone so if you haven’t gotten tickets already, get on that soon and end ski season the best way possible!
