Bonnaroo ’19: Return of the Other

Planning to start your summer at Bonnaroo? The annual monster of a festival returns this June with a solid lineup, new activations and even a brand new stage (Where Stage, located in the campgrounds).

Bonnaroo showrunner Superfly just released this year’s Other Stage lineup, and it’s one that shouldn’t be missed. The Other Stage is a fairly new member of Bonnaroo’s iconic, direction-oriented (think “What,” “Which,” “That”) stages, an area designated for electronic acts that was formerly a tent but developed into a massive stage in 2017.

This year, the Other Stage returns with heavy-hitters RL Grime, NGHTMRE, Liquid Stranger, ZHU and Gramatik, among others.

While the Other Stage won’t technically run all night, it’s only a short walk from festival mainstay Kalliope, the traveling stage/”mobile dance party” that can be found annually at Bonnaroo, Burning Man and other large electronic music gatherings.

Big names can frequently be found doing surprise sets on Kalliope into the early morning hours, so it’s worth dropping by after the Other Stage wraps up for the night. One example: Skrillex famously dropped in for a 6 a.m. Sunday set on Kalliope at Bonnaroo 2014–there’s no telling who you might find there.

Already got your tickets? We’ll see you at the Other! If not, you can grab yours here
