This August, Colorado’s ARISE Music Festival returns for a seventh year, bringing with it heavyweight DJ/producer/composer Tipper for two nights of headlining performances, along with the Celtic electronica masterminds of Beats Antique. Supporting acts include Sunsquabi, Rising Appalachia, CloZee, Railroad Earth, and more!
ARISE continues its commitment to community in 2019, pledging to plant one tree for each ticket sold and following a leave-no-trace ethos more often found in national parks than big fests–perfect for Earth-conscious attendees. It will also bring back its family-friendly and health-oriented atmosphere, providing plenty of yoga, art and thought leader options and kids 12 and under getting in free.
Tipper’s coming off the 2017 release of his “Lattice” EP and will likely bring his trademark turntable-on-top-of-tracks sound to these sets. No confirmation of this yet, but he’s been known to divide sets into uptempo and downtempo tracks–I wouldn’t be surprised if he brings this organization to ARISE as well.
