One of Asia’s premier electronic music events is returning to the South East this summer for its 10th anniversary. Djakarta Warehouse Project recently announced the highly anticipated return of the event, relocating to Bali’s GWK Cultural Park and expanding to three days this December. What originated as a club event in 2008 at the renowned Blowfish Club in Jakarta eventually became an annual one-day festival until it’s expansion in 2014. Since then, the two-day festival has been crowned as one of the biggest and best EDM festivals in Asia, attracting more than 20,000 travelers from 39 countries to celebrate music and diversity. In 2018, Djakarta Warehouse Project will be celebrating a decade of DWP madness with its biggest edition yet! Check out the lineup announcement below.

Known for its famous bird shaped main stage ‘Garuda Land’, the festival has hosted some of the biggest names in the world. A wide range of sub-genres are also featured at multiple stages throughout the festival. This year’s lineup currently features 16 names including a special live act, with more names still to be announced. Here are the top 5 sets I’m most excited to see at the 10 year anniversary of Djakarta Warehouse Project.

The king of trance Armin van Buuren has been headlining main stages all over the world with his incredible energy and memorable performances. His music features euphoric elements ranging from psytrance to mainstream sounds and everything in between, making it impossible not to enjoy a set from the legend himself. American electronic music trio Major Lazer will be performing one of their final shows at Djakarta Warehouse Project this summer. Known for their unmistakable electronic reggaeton sounds, the group instantly rose to success, collaborating with some of the biggest names in the world including Justin Bieber and DJ Snake. With the recent confirmation from frontman Diplo that the group will disband in the near future, this is one set you do not want to miss! Check out their most popular track below.

Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies will be returning to the DWP main stage this summer. Known for his deep house and tropical sounds, the artist creates the perfect combination of chill yet energetic vibes and will be the perfect way to welcome back the summer in Asia. Check out his most popular track below.

American DJ and producer Porter Robinson will be making his DWP debut this December. The musician is known for his unique electronic ‘synth-pop’ sounds, which have brought him great success over the last decade. Check out his most popular track below.

The first live act to be announced to celebrate 10 years of Djakarta Warehouse Project is none other than The Weekend. Collaborating with electronic icons Daft Punk, the Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter rose to mainstream success and has been dominating the charts ever since. With multiple albums and critically acclaimed tracks under his belt, his live performance will definitely be one to remember. Check out his most popular track below.

Celebrating a decade of electronic music and diversity in South East Asia, Djakarta Warehouse Project promises to deliver a spectacular anniversary celebration. With an impressive phase two lineup already announced at the fraction of a cost of most festivals, the three-day event will no doubt be one of the hottest events of the summer. Tickets are available here starting at only $99USD for a three-day pass!
