Ultra Returns to Mexico City

After expanding to Mexico in 2017, Ultra Worldwide is bringing the iconic event back to Mexico City’s Foro Pegaso this October for a massive second edition. The two-day event already made history in 2017 with the widest main stage design of any Ultra Worldwide event and the 2018 edition is anticipated to be nothing short of spectacular. With over 120,000 people expected to attend, this festival remains as one of Mexico’s largest electronic music events. Check out this year’s phase one lineup below.

The phase one lineup boasts 23 of the biggest names spread out across four stages with the second wave of names to be announced soon. In addition to the iconic Ultra Main Stage, Mexico will see the return of the world-renowned Resistance stage as well as the Ultra Worldwide stage and of course, Mexico’s favourite Bud Light stage. With so many spectacular names and stages to choose from, this event will no doubt be one of the best events the country has to offer! Here are five headliners you absolutely cannot miss at this year’s edition of Ultra Mexico.


The undisputed king of trance has been a crowd favourite all over the world and Mexico has been eagerly waiting for his return. With the perfect combination of euphoric sounds and energetic sets, Armin Van Buuren continues to display why he is worthy of his title. Having seen him perform at a festival in Mexico earlier this year, the energy at the main stage throughout his set is unmatched with the Mexican crowd going absolutely crazy over the legend himself. American based DJ and producer Illenium will be returning to Mexico City for the second time this year to take fans on yet another musical journey. The melodic bass producer has won the hearts of dance music fans across the globe and has brought his unique sound to the largest festivals in the world. American based DJ Nghtmre joined forces with musical duo Slander and have presented Gud Vibrations at festivals and sold out shows all over the country. Although Swedish House Mafia is back in full force, Steve Angello has maintained a successful solo career, continuing to take over the biggest main stages in the world. Berlin-based musical group Tale Of Us has been the talk of the 2018 festival season.
