If your 2018 New Year’s Resolution is to travel more, or if you are simply a travel enthusiast, look no further than Envision Festival in Costa Rica happening February 28 – March 3, 2019. Envision Festival is known for its focus on the Costa Rican culture, locally sourced talent, an enviornmentally concious approach and of course, incredible music.
Today, Envision announces an incredible lineup with headliners GRiZ and Tycho. The Floozies and 4th year veteran, CloZee also made the roster this year. This announcement comes as an exciting one for the music festival community and marks a successful 9th year for Envision Festival.
Envision is Pushing Its Own Boundaries
Josh Wendel, Envision Festival Founder explains, “Coming into our 9th edition, we really wanted to step up our game. We created a diverse and extremely strong gathering of well-established international artists and local emerging talents. Without a shadow of a doubt, we are proud to announce the best lineup in the history of Envision!” He also adds, “The creative and conceptual process behind our stages is another core element of our production and identity. We create a 360-degree sensorial experience not only through high-class music, but also intricate visuals and captivating performances. The unbreakable bond between some of the most talented woodcrafters and local bamboo builders is reflected in all our creations, and we’re honored to share the love and the care behind our designs. Each stage will be an entirely new build this year, and we can’t wait to share them with you!”
The Leader in Festi-viornmental Conciousness
Envision continues to pave the way for a more sustainable festival culture as the organizers announced that all single-use plastics (and outside alcohol) are banned from the event. This is to cut down on waste and to encourage attendees to purchase locally sourced produce (which contributes to a more culturally authentic dining experience). The festival will also be encouraging a BYO mentality and offering a dishware rental program throughout the venue to minimize waste. Following its traditions from the past, the festival sources its vendors in the market that are environmentally conscious. Even its stages are made from eco-friendly jungle materials. Envision Festival remains unparalleled for its contributions to keeping its Costa Rican home intact and continues to pave the way for the future for all concious music festivals, domestic and international.
