Memorial Day Weekend is right around the corner, which means Sasquatch Music Festival is near. Over 20,000 music fans will be heading to the Gorge in Washington for three days of music and fun. This year’s event will be headlined by Bon Iver, Modest Mouse, The National, David Byrne, and Spoon. Supporting acts like Vince Staples, Tash Sultana, and Shaky Graves will also be taking the stage. This weekend is sure to be full of breathtaking views, delightful sounds, and fun for everyone.

This year they are also getting everyone involved in new ways on social media by putting a call out for attendees to tag their stories online. “Make your story a part of ours – tag your Instagram stories with #MYSASQUATCH2018 and you could be featured in our recap video”.

The Location

The festival takes place at The Gorge Amphitheater in Washington state. The 27,500 seat amphitheater is a popular place for music festivals and concerts. It is managed by Live Nation. The venue has received much acclaim for its breathtaking panoramic views of the natural splendor surrounding it. It has been deemed one of the most scenic outdoor music locations in the world by the Wall Street Journal. The amphitheater is located near the Columbia River in George, Washington which is about an hour away from Seattle. Originally, the land was meant to be a vineyard but in 1985 it opened up as a concert venue instead. Since then, a variety of music festivals like Paradiso and Dave Mathews Band Caravan have held their events there. Sasquatch has been there since 2002.

The Music

This year’s line up has a little bit of everything for festival goers. You can get weird and wild with Tyler, the Creator.  You can rock out to Spoon.
