Melbourne hardstyle fans are being blessed with yet another amazing event this year. From the organizers who brought you Brennan Heart’s I Am Hardstyle, Hard Kandy and Hard Style United events are bringing back one of Melbourne’s biggest hardstyle events this May, Shadows Of Wonderland. It returns this year for its 4th edition to bring ravers on a dark and enchanted journey with a forest and wonderland theme. The event promises to deliver state of the art production and sound alongside a strong international line up.
This year’s edition features eight of the biggest names from all over the globe and will be hosted by Australia’s own MC D. Get to know the artists below.
GUNZ FOR HIRE
Dutch duo Gunz For Hire is ‘armed and dangerous’ and ready to return to Melbourne and showcase their underground, raw sound. The two joined forces in 2011 and have been tearing up the rawstyle scene ever since. Check out their biggest track below.
NOISECONTROLLERS
Originating as a duo, Dutch artists Bas Oskam and Arjan Terpstra created the act to bring something new to the table and take Hardstyle to the next level. Unfortunately, Arjan has announced his departure from the group. Now Oskam continues as a solo act that has continued to produce a wide variety of unique sounds ranging from hard to soft sounds. DA TWEEKAZ
The Norwegian duo have a reputation in the hard dance world as one of the most exciting, energetic, and unpredictable acts. Their sets feature everything from iconic hardstyle anthems to Disney movie soundtracks. Their music is sure to make you dance and sing along. DJ LUNA
Another rawstyle favourite, DJ Luna has been producing and performing for over 15 years! The Dutch star has a unique ear for the style, being able to combine his immaculate track selection, flawless technique and energy on stage to create a distinctive and unmatched vibe. ATMOZFEARS
Dutch artist Atmozfears has been pushing the boundaries with his unique and emotive sound for a decade as a rising star in the hardstyle scene. Collaborating with some of the biggest names and making appearances at the biggest hardstyle events, Tim van de Stadt continues to spread his passion for music and create a sense of togetherness wherever he goes. ADARO
Undoubtedly one of the ambitious artists in the scene, Adaro has been pursuing his signature hardstyle sound since 2008. He originally started by producing multiple electronic music styles but now focused just on hardstyle. His diverse discography, energetic performances, and incredible production skills are just some of the many reasons Adaro has large fan bases all over the world. Among making appearances at many of the world’s largest hardstyle events, Adaro had the honour of creating the 2017 Intents Festival anthem. Check it out below.
SYNTHSOLDIER
Local Melbourne DJ, producer and radio host Synthsoldier will be making an appearance on the Shadows of Wonderland stage. Starting his career at only 15 years old, Synthsoldier has since grown to become one of Australia’s most promising hardstyle artists He has been collaborating with his idols and making his way up the stages at the biggest hardstyle events in the country. WILDSTYLEZ
As one of the leading artists in the hardstyle scene, Dutch DJ and producer Wildstylez has paved his own path to success. With his fearless attitude and loyalty to the harder styles, he continues to push the boundaries of the scene and is constantly building bridges with other styles of music. His most popular track ‘Lose My Mind’ has become an iconic anthem in the scene while his other tracks such as ‘Year Of Summer’ have made history as the first hardstyle track to appear on daytime radio.
