One festival that has been rising year after year is definitely InMusic Festival. It takes place in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. It might be 12 years old, but in the last 4-5 years, it became one of the best European festivals. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad in the beginning either, but since the last few years, it became monster of a festival. It is more of an alternative music festival but also is known to bring some major music names. Icons like Morrissey, The Stooges, Stereo MC, Rosin Murphy, Moby, Kraftwerk, Billy Idol, Lilly Allen and many more have been headliners since 2006.
This year’s festival will be the biggest so far, and when you see the names you won’t need any other reason. One more thing about InMusic Festival is that it is in the center of an amazing country. If you decide to visit Croatia you will have plenty to see. Take a few days to visit Croatian coast because it is one of the best in Europe. Cities like Dubrovnik, Split, and Rijeka are amazing cities with gorgeous beaches. Don’t get me started with Croatian Islands, there are so many incredible ones to see. You must visit places like Hvar, Brac, Pag, Krk. Islands with amazing nature, even better beaches, and awesome parties.
This year the festival will take a place from the 25th to the 27the of June. Names on the line up are already incredible and it will only get better.
Queens of the Stone Age
After releasing a new album, Queens of the Stone Age are now on a major tour. They are an awesome rock’n’roll band that has been around since 1996 and always have an incredible atmosphere in concert. Definitely will be a gig to remember for any festie there.
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
It would take a lot of time to write everything that Nick Cave has done. He is an Australian musician who has been on the scene since the 1970s and has also spent time as an actor, writer, and composer. He will be one of the must-see shows at the festival.
Alice in Chains
Alice in Chains is one of the most famous bands that came from Seattle, the city of grunge music. They are one of the iconic bands from the 90s that are still going very strong. Now they are on the world tour promoting a new album.
St. Vincent
Anne Erin “Annie” Clark is a multi-instrumentalist and a very talented songwriter. If you are not familiar with her work, you will be amazed at this performance. She had a noteworthy showing at this years Coachella that got her great reviews.
